London Haul

The other week Jade and i decided to take a day trip up to London for a girlie day of shopping. I love London, it was lovely to be back after so long. I won’t lie, i ended up going a bit crazy with the spending but it was totally worth it!
After seeing Estee Lalonde‘s Instagram post i saw this most beautiful long sleeved top with cut sleeves and a light pink frill. I love that the neckline isn’t too high but keeps me warm on a chilly day. I’m currently in the process of a wardrobe capsule makeover, so you’ll see a lot of grey, white, black and light pink. I know this isn’t a light pink but i just fell in love so i made an exception.

I’ve just realised that i bought four types of long sleeved tops – Must of been obsessed this day! The next style i bought was a H&M classic top with a small black overlocked sleeve. I chose this because it goes with everything, skirts, jeans, under a dress, the lot!

As i said i am trying to sort out my wardrobe and one of the ways i am doing this is swapping cheap items with high quality replacements which will last me so much longer. My plain long sleeved needed some love so i chose these with the long back and the wide neckline which makes a classic long sleeved top (Similar here) a bit more classy.

Along with the tops, i bought some makeup products from Kiko, which is rare for me to get my hands on due to not being local to a store but i always seem to time it right when they have a sale so i’m not complaining! I have been trying to boost up my lip liner collection as i basically had two shades for years, but i picked up one dark pink shade and a purple shade to go with two of my favourite lipsticks. One of their lipstick caught my eye too as i was on the hunt for a lighter pink lipstick as my one in my handbag has defiantly seen better days!
Along the makeup theme i also treated myself to a Chanel nail varnish. I chose a shade which i use a lot already then threw away the cheap similar ones as i wanted to choose a colour i would use the most of.

Ive been eyeing up chokers for ages but couldn’t quite find the right one as i didn’t want anything too bulky. Beige seems like the best choice for me as i wear these sorts of shades a lot within my outfits. These two from H&M are so cute and classy and would go with basically anything.

I was gazing through Selfridges and i came across these two different sized translucent trays, which can be used either separate or are stackable which is how i have them on my dressing table for my everyday makeup to stay. I will often find them handy for blog post trays for transporting makeup etc for photo taking.

Lastly i have been admiring this plant book for ages now but i finally found it in the sales so of course i bought it! Its literally Pinterest in a book for showing unique ways of planting your succulents and plants indoors, its just gorgeous!
