Fresh, Pink and Glowing.
Last week was date night for us, I wanted to keep my makeup fresh yet spicing it up slightly to make it a little different to my usual everyday look. Whilst keeping my complexion quite basic by enhancing what i have and giving my skin that glow it needs by using a illuminating primer and a bright peach blush on the cheeks to give that girlie, fresh style which i have been seeing all over social media.
Giorgio Armani Light Master Primer – £38
A beautiful purple/pink illuminator primer which keeps oils at bay and keeps your makeup looking glowing and full of energy. I love that it’s so lightweight and not too over powering in the shimmer department! I don’t even feel the need to wear highlighter as it catches the light so well.
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation – £30
A high coverage foundation with a matte finish without going patchy or dry throughout the night. Recently increasing the shade count to 40 shades to match to every woman’s skin tone and shade. My favourite thing about this foundation is that it still gives you radiance as it’s not an over matte finish and works amazing with the Armani Primer.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer – £24.50
It took me a while to work out if this bronzer was worth the hype, but i wish i bought it sooner because Hoola is just the perfect shade – A happy medium of brown with a bit of warmth without being too orange to give that natural looking definition.
Maybelline Baby Lips Blush – £4.99
After loving the baby lip balm a couple years ago i was intrigued to give this a try, i chose a peachy shade as i find that it is the most uplifting for my skin tone, giving my skin that boost of colour and energy. I actually apply this with a brush and blend it in that way as it gives the most natural pop of colour.
Lancôme Brow Gel – £18.50
I’ve been obsessed with the Benefit Gimme Brow for years, but i have now fallen for the Lancôme gel. Whilst the Gimme Brow tinted my brows i would find that they would move out of place throughout the day. This product seems to hold them in place all day while giving them a tint of colour.
Urban Decay Ultimate Basic Palette – £39.50
The day i saw that this was coming out i was eager to get my hand on it! I am a big lover of the matte shade throughout all of the Naked Palettes and the fact they have put them all into one made it one of my favourite palettes i own.
Lancôme Grandios Liner – £25
I’ve been through three of these already because this liner is an all rounder of a product. A long lasting matte liner with a fine tip to make it even easier to create a winged flick. I don’t personally use the bendable part but i know that a lot of people find it more helpful than the average liner. In this look i was wearing the brown shade as i find its not so hard as the black.
Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara – £26
When it comes to my lashes, i want them full and big to finish my eye look off. If you’ve been reading for a while you’ll know that i go on and on about the Grandiose but this is just as good and a similar price.
