I have recently re-found my love for light pink, even going to the lengths of changing my gadget cases to light pink to match my diary, tops and even my lipsticks.
I’ve been stretching my Spring shades to a few darker pink and peach shades as well because i love to mix things up a bit with different looks.
Spring is all about that fresh, glowing look for me – That goes for my skin, clothes and of course my choice of lipstick!
Soap and Glory | Matte Lip Pretty Muted
These lipsticks have been a big part of my makeup collection in the past year or so and i have been obsessed with the shade ‘Chocoberry’ in Autumn/ Winter but after going through three of the same shade i decided to was only time to have a change to this gorgeous light pink. I love how moisturising it is along with it’s high pigmentation.
YSL | Rouge Volupte Shine 15
Along with it’s beautiful packaging this is a sheer and buildable lipstick, the butter texture keeps my lips from drying up. Being more of a shine finish made me think that it wouldn’t last five minutes but it surprised me as they actually stay on longer than the average butter lipstick.
Bourjois | Colour Boost Peach on the Beach
A long love of mine is Peach On The Beach, a gorgeous peach lip crayon with a high shine finish, which gives such a high colour as most crayons give a light tint to the lips which is great but sometimes i like to have a bit more colour.
Lancome | Juicy Shaker Pink Power 378
This is actually coming out within the next couple of months which i am so excited about but i have been lucky to get my hands on one as these matte Juicy Shakers are my new favourite high colour lipsticks! If you found that the original Juicy Shakers wasn’t enough colour for you and didn’t stay on long enough then you will absolutely fall head over heels for! I popped this on without a liner at 7am and it will still be on my lips by 6pm at night if not longer, even after eating!
Max Factor | 10 Sunkissed Matte
I picked up this a month or so ago and i was looking for a classic peach shade for my collection for when i wanted that fresh spring look. The packaging for the Max Factor matte lipstick range are beautiful and classy with it’s matte black casing.
Rosie For Autograph | Super Model Smile
I received this in my Marks and Spencer advent calendar which was a lovely surprise as i actually haven’t tried anything from Rosie For Autograph and let’s just say i wasn’t disappointed as i am obsessed with the finish of a glossy, juicy tint. This shade is gorgeous as it enhances the colour you already have there, so i normally keep it in my handbag for touch ups for any look.
Urban Decay | Revolution Sheer Streak
I wouldn’t exactly call this sheer as the depth of the colour when it’s on the lipstick is gorgeous. These formula’s are probably one of my favourites as it’s one of the juiciest and glossy lipstick ranges i own and it finishes off any makeup look!
Lancome | L’Absolu Rouge Rose Lancome 368
After relaunching the L’Absolu Range they came out with this beautiful Chanel like lipstick by clicking the rose to reveal your high pigmented lipstick. The range includes three different formulas sheer, matte and cream. The one i have is the Cream formula. I love how classy it looks on the lips as it’s full of shine and of course it’s defiantly kiss proof so thats a bonus!
