Girlie day with Princesshay

#adgifted Earlier on this month I was invited to have a girlie day out with Princesshay in Exeter showing off what they have to offer, and oh boy was it the best day!

We started off the day by visiting the personal shopping suite in Debenhams, we were greeted by Deborah the personal stylist. It was a beautiful room full of fashion and accessories to go with every outfit. After having a little introduction Deborah got to know what our style was and what we wanted to come away with, she went off to pick our dream outfits, this service is free to anyone and everyone whether you are looking for a few new pieces for your wardrobe or you’ve got an event coming up.

From a small chat, Deborah seemed to know exactly what I was after as when she came back with a mountain of clothes and popped them onto the rail, I found that I fell in love with pretty much the whole rail! I loved that Deborah picked out items I would have never even give two looks at along with some which were right up my street!

Whilst sipping on tea we shared some outfit trying and it was a huge success, let’s see some outfits Deborah kindly picked out:

This leopard print number is actually what I’m wearing as writing this, I never really go for blue denim but I was absolutely in love when I tried this on because the fit was just right and wasn’t too baggy as being quite petite i find it hard to style these. The top has a simple neckline which isn’t a rolled neck which sits better than the average turtle neck.

I was wearing the exact same playsuit when I arrived but Deborah was saying she walked past and just had to pick it up! I find this style is such an easy pick up and go, I don’t have to worry about what I will look like it. It’s dressy but also casual.

This was a dating number for me, I love my light beige leather skirt but sometimes find that black looks harsh, paired with this beautiful white top and boots softens the look.

When Deborah pulled this out the bag I was instantly in love! I’ve seen this leather dress around everywhere but never been brave enough to even try it on to give it a whirl. I must say I am in love with this outfit so much, I think I may have to go back and buy it!

I used to wear these sort of tops all the time but I’m in love how this is cropped and the tie at the front adds a bit of texture, and talking about texture this top is full of it as if you look closely it has a slight natural ruffle.

After out three hour session with Deborah at Debenhams I was beaming with delight with my new additions to my wardrobe, we walked across the way to Mac where we were greeted by two lovely girls who did our makeup for the meal we were having that night.

I was quite relaxed with how I wanted my makeup as I love seeing how people makeup my face, as I always end up doing my makeup each day exactly the same way!

I absolutely fell in love with my makeup it was so luxurious and chic, whilst not too heavy. The eyes were a beautiful colour which were a mix of browns and burgundy. I felt glowing!

To finish our girlie day out we sat down for a three course meal at Cafe Rouge with the best mocktail ever ( I was driving) I could have literally had it on tap, I don’t usually like elderflower but this was beautiful!

For starters we had a selection to choose from, i went for garlic mushrooms with toast and it was so so good. Beth went for a prawn cocktail which also looked very pretty!

Being vegetarian and Beth bring allergic to nuts they treated us incredibly well, giving us different options and assisting our needs!

I had never had Mediterranean style food before although it was hotter than I normally have it was very nice, so many favours!

I had the most amazing homemade donuts of my life, with dark melted chocolate, I would love to have these every night.

Thank you so so much to Chloe at Princesshay, Exeter for arranging the most amazing day for myself and Beth along with Deborah for an amazing personal shopping experience in Debenhams, the girls at MAC for the beautiful makeovers and of course Cafe Rouge for the loveliest end to the day! Also I’d like to thank Beth from Lablogbeaute for coming with me, it was lovely to catch up and have a girlie day together! We came away in the best uplifting mood and feeling like a girl boss in our new wardrobe and makeovers!
